Introduction: We are a local chapter of a nation-wide non-profit self-help organization offering friendship and understanding to families who are grieving the death of a child of any age, from any cause. All bereaved family members are welcome. Our purpose is to promote and aid families in the positive resolution of the grief experience upon the death of their child or sibling, and to foster the physical and emotional health of bereaved parents and surviving children.

It is okay to express any feelings during our meetings, and all that is expressed is considered confidential. No religious creed or affiliation is involved. There are no dues and no one is required to talk at any meetings. Listening is okay!

We have regular meetings (all family members are welcome- most attendees are parents) monthly at the Mullen Commons next to St. Vianney Church, 1650 Ygnacio Valley Road, Walnut Creek. These meetings are on the fourth Tuesday of each month except December, from 7:30 to 9:00 PM. The next scheduled dates for these regular meetings are:

August 26, 2008
September 23, 2008
October 28, 2008
