Welcome to The Compassionate Friends of Contra Costa County, California
We are a local chapter of a nationwide non-profit self-help organization offering friendship, understanding, and hope to families grieving the death of a child of any age from any cause. All (adult) family members are welcome. Our purpose is to provide highly personal comfort, hope , and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or a daughter, a brother or a sister, or a grandchild, and helps others better assist the grieving family.
We have regular meetings each month at our main location in Walnut Creek, as well as locations in San Leandro and Oakland. All family members are welcome -- most attendees are parents.
